hello there!

Born and raised in Queens, NY, I’ve always had a passion for storytelling and creating worlds I could escape to. I’ve been writing stories since I was little; my first short story was about a girl who could speak to her dog and goes to therapy about it. I wrote this in the third grade when I was supposed to be listening in computer class. Psychology is a common theme in my stories and is a subject I’ve always been intrigued by and I graduated in 2015 with a BA in Psychology from CUNY City College of New York.

I like to tell people that I sold my first book in the fourth grade. I typed it up, printed it on really special paper, and bounded it with staples. A friend of mine had bought it for fifty cents. To this day, I am still proud of that sale. In 2017, I independently published my debut novel Kaleidoscope’s Light and because of that experience I decided to launch my own media company and in 2019, Hollis House was born.

Through Hollis House, I produced/wrote/directed/and acted in my first feature film, Quarantine, Actually which won Best First Feature at the Toronto International Nollywood Film Festival. I am also a co-host of the Fil-Am podcast Kwento-Kwento Podcast where we share lots of laughs, insight into the entertainment business, and meet amazing Filipino-Americans from all walks of life.

I am constantly writing both screenplays and books, and will never let my mind rest.
